Legal information

Access to information (PAIA)

An interim access-to-information notice for records held by the SayScope supplier.

Version 2026-09-28 · Updated 21 September 2026

Requests

A person seeking a record to exercise or protect a right may submit the prescribed PAIA Form 2 to the Information Officer identified on the Legal information page. POPIA correction, deletion, objection or restriction requests may also be sent to that officer using the applicable prescribed form. Requests may be sent to info@sayscope.co.za.

The request should identify the requester, the record, the right being exercised or protected, the preferred form of access and the relevant contact details. Statutory fees and grounds for refusal may apply.

The self-service Clear uploaded data and Delete account tools do not replace the formal request route, especially for retained payment, audit or legal-hold records. Provider and backup limitations are described in the Privacy notice.

Manual and forms

The responsible party must complete, approve and publish the applicable private-body PAIA manual before public paid launch. Official guidance, templates and forms are available from the Information Regulator.

Complaints

Give the Information Officer an opportunity to respond first. If a PAIA request is denied or receives no response, a complaint may be lodged with the Information Regulator using Form 5 or PAIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
